Another year on earth means many things: another birthday and time to spend with loved ones, and annual developer conferences in tech. Kicking 2026 off is Google announcing its annual I/O conference. It’s happening on May 19 at its usual location: the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.

Here is where Google reveals what’s coming to all things Android, Chrome, and Search, and the new abilities coming to Gemini with OS updates and feature sets. The opening keynote with the cliff notes version of everything streams live via YouTube.

While in person, media and developers get to demo new software features ahead of launch, and if any hardware makes an appearance, that as well. Also worth mentioning is that there’s an In-and-Out not too far from the location, too.
