Sony just dropped its newest LinkBuds Clips last month and is already prepping for its next earbuds release. Late last week, the company teased the release of its upcoming noise-canceling flagship earbuds, the WF-1000XM6s, on its YouTube channel.

Sony changed up its design a bit by opting for a more pill-shaped look and the return of the matte finish. As opposed to the XM5 buds, which were released two years ago and boast a glossy finish. Rumors suggest improved bass, an upgraded driver, an IPX4 rating, Sony’s 360 Reality Audio support, and improved ANC capabilities.

The leaked images showcased above are from a previous leak, spotted by the Walkman Blog. The report corroborates the look and design spotted ever so briefly within the teaser video.

While the video teased the buds in its 7-second clip, it also revealed the official announcement date and time as well. So on February 12 at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET, Sony will make the reveal along with specs and pricing for the WF-1000XM6 buds.
