Now that CES is in the rearview for 2026, it’s time to move forward with the next big thing in tech (hopefully?). It’s time for Samsung’s Galaxy S26 line of phones and more. Early yesterday evening, the company made its Galaxy Unpacked event for the top of the year official, as it’s happening on February 25 at 10 AM PT/1 PM ET in San Francisco, California.
With the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra slated, don’t expect massive hardware changes, outside of the newest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip. Early reports and rumors suggest the S26 will get a mildly larger screen and battery, the S26+ will relatively remain the same, and the S26 Ultra will offer a new titanium build, an upgraded camera system, a new built-in privacy screen feature, and potentially Qi2 charging (but I would bet against it for case support). Outside of the phones, we’re expecting additional software features with more Galaxy AI capabilities, new Galaxy Buds 4 and 4 Pro earbuds, maybe the 2nd-gen Galaxy Ring, or new Android XR hardware.
If you’re dead set on upgrading to Samsung’s newest flagship smartphones, you can reserve yours now for bonus credit and savings. You can get a $30 credit, $150 off, and be entered to win a $5,000 Samsung.com gift card. Those who are trading in can get an additional $900 in savings as well.
