Instead of offering a single beam, it packs four distinct light options into one flat, pocketable body, so you’re not carrying separate tools for separate jobs. The ArkPro Ultra measures nearly 5 inches long, weighs around 0.26 lbs, is IPX7-rated, has a textured grip on both sides, and is made from Olight’s proprietary O-aluminum alloy, which is nearly double the hardness of standard aluminum. Thus, making this flashlight tough against scratches and dents. It also provides a magnetic base and includes a clip to easily attach to the brim of your cap, pocket, toolbox, fridge, and more.
It provides four independent light sources of flood, spotlight, a built-in UV, and a green laser. The ArkPro Ultra’s flood mode shines at 1,700 lumens, the measure of total brightness, to effortlessly fill up a dark space. Its spotlight mode uses 800 lumens over 200 meters, or over 650 ft, to illuminate anything from afar with ease. The built-in UV doesn’t require a separate blacklight to search for stains, leaks, etc. And lastly, it has its own green laser that can be independently controlled, and the laser can be combined with the other three for a total of seven sources.
Olight has a 2,000 mAh battery and also provides two charging options via USB-C and a magnetic dock, sold separately. The company quotes up to 14 days of continuous usage, as the ArkPro Ultra displays a four-level color indicator to showcase its battery life. The company also offers a built-in lockout mode that prevents activating the light when in your pocket, bag, or holster.
This flashlight might just be the last one you need to buy. However, if the flat design isn’t your style or you don’t require multiple light sources, Olight’s ArkPro Ultra isn’t your only option. The company has the $70 Baton 4 Pro and the $100 Baton Ultra that offer the same flood-and-throw concept in a more traditional cylinder body—if that’s more your preference.
