Yesterday, Microsoft announced the pricing and launch details for its limited-edition green translucent Xbox, or the Xbox X25 Limited Edition console. It was announced back in June during the Xbox Games Showcase to celebrate 25 years of gaming on the Xbox.
This is essentially a 1TB Xbox Series X with a special green shell reminiscent of the original green Xbox console. Each console will be laser-etched and numbered, and ships with the Halo: Campaign Evolved game preloaded on its hard drive. It will set you back a bit, as it arrives with a $900 price tag attached to it. Interested gamers can pre-order one right now, as it goes on sale on November 13th. However, select dedicated Xbox fans were granted early pre-order access yesterday via email.
In addition, Xbox is also selling the Xbox X25 special edition wireless controller separately for $80. The special edition controller is set to go on sale on October 20. The celebration doesn’t stop there, as Microsoft also launched limited-edition translucent green accessories, including a keyboard, mouse, earbuds, and mobile controllers as well.
