By now we all know what the highlight of Apple’s big event next Tuesday but they may have more tricks up their sleeves. The world is already anticipating smaller, non-Retina display iPad just under 8 inches w/ a Lightning port and pricing starting at $329. Consumers should expect some refreshes and something new as well.
First thing to expect is a smaller Retina-screened MacBook Pro with a 13inch display. Expect the smaller Retina MBP to offer a super-high resolution of 2560 x 1600 along with a beefy quad-core Intel processor, and all flash SSD storage. Expect the price point to lower than the $2199 that the 15inch Retina MBP starts at. Said to launch maybe a month or so later since Foxconn is having manufacturing issues with it.
Next on deck is a refreshed Mac Mini. The new 2013 model will have its specs more modernized like faster processors & USB 3.0. Set to arrive in two configurations and a third server model said to become available immediately after the announcement.
And lastly, Apple is set to refresh their iMac desktop. Apple will put in more updated specs like faster processors & USB 3.0 along with a redesign of the monitor & stand. There was once rumored that Apple would unveil a Retina iMac with a higher price point. Whichever model is announced, it will launch later this month, early November with the 21inch model first.
Keep your fingers crossed in hopes that everything actually comes. Now that we are all out of long-awaited Apple rumors, the only thing really left is Apple’s iTV. Check back with us next Tuesday around 1PMish.
