This morning to kick off IFA, Sony unveiled several new products coming soon to consumers. One of them is a new tablet, the Xperia Tablet S. The new Xperia slate offers a 9.4inch HD IPS display w/ 1280 x 800 resolution, powered by a Tegra 3 quad-core processor, running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, dual cameras (1MP in front & 8MP in the rear) an infrared sensor for use as an universal remote, SD card slot, 6000 mAh battery, DLNA support w/ HDMI out port, and is splash proof.
The Xperia Tablet S will become available on September 7th as Sony is now taking pre-orders. With 3 storage sizes of 16GB, 32GB, & 64GB; pricing varies from $399 to $599. With all of that tablet s out there and coming, is this going to the one for you?
