After missing their May 18th launch of the EVO 4G LTE due to patent lawsuits, Sprint finally has some good news about its latest flagship device. Sprint announced within their forums that the newest EVO has been released from US customs and those who pre-ordered it should be expecting it by May 24th. HTC had to make some slight changes to the UI experience in order to get them free. No word from the carrier on an exact date for the official launch for all Sprint subscribers but pre-orders will offer an email with shipping confirmation when your EVO is on the way to you.
