When Apple revealed the iPhone Air a few short weeks back, it was presented as a glimpse of the future. Apparently, the future it represents could arrive sooner rather than later. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, he shares additional details and potential pricing for Apple’s forthcoming entry into foldables.

Gurman claims the foldable iPhone would resemble two iPhone Airs fused with a titanium chassis. Thus making Apple’s foldable around as thin as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. I’m curious how Apple would tweak iOS to take advantage of many screens. He also states pricing could be at least $2,000, which is an unfortunate premium I would expect from Apple.

The Air itself is a bit of a technical marvel, being extremely thin, easy to repair, and resistant to bending or breaking. However, many reviews share a similar sentiment: subpar battery life. Hopefully, Apple can find a way to improve this before the launch of its foldable, which it’s currently set to arrive next fall — unless it gets delayed.
