As Apple recently released a new, louder, and easier-to-find AirTag, we have a slimmer alternative in the form of a new smart card. While the idea of the smart card isn’t new, KeySmart recently improved it. The company recently introduced the new $40 dual-band smart card, a slim, waterproof, rechargeable tracking card.

The company’s newest Smart Card is 1.8mm thin (or as thin as two credit cards). It has a Bluetooth range of up to 200 ft., an opening for a lanyard support, an IPX8-rated shell to handle up to 1 hour in 3.3 feet of water, and can be used for either Apple’s Find My or Google’s FindHub networks. The latter option can be reset if you switch between Android and iOS.

Inside, it’s powered by an Atlas Gen 3 chip, which provides lower power consumption, improved connectivity, and double the processing speed over its predecessor. The card also has a longer-lasting 11-month battery life, which can be recharged wirelessly.

The KeySmart Dual-Band Smart Card is available now on the KeySmart site. It ships only in black and is available in a single pack for $40, a 3-pack for $90, or a 5-pack option for $130.
