Apple is prepping for an interesting rest of the year with its rumored products and yearly upgrades. One of them is coming sooner rather than later. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s next iPhone launch is coming upon us. More specifically, the budget-friendly iPhone 17e, a successor to last year’s iPhone 16e.

Gurman’s report suggests the 17e will get notable upgrades, including a new A19 processor, MagSafe charging support, and support for Apple’s newest proprietary cellular C1X and N1 wireless chips. And unlike much other tech this year, the price will remain the same at $599. However, there is no word on the addition of Apple’s Dynamic Island or a boost in base storage from 128GB to 256GB.

This all sounds fine and dandy, but many consumers and tech enthusiasts wanted a lower price tag. I’m doubtful Apple would lower the prices to less than the $599 of last year, but the 17e will eventually get discounts via carriers and on Amazon.

We can also expect new iPads, including a base model with an A18 chip and Air models with OLED screens and an M4 chip, along with upgraded MacBook Pros and an M5-powered MacBook Air. The report suggests that most of the new Apple products are expected to go on sale in March.
