In case you thought the gaming news was done, you are incorrect. I nearly forgot that today was Nintendo’s Direct for summer showcase for 2026, and it brought forth several new announcements and game trailers for titles coming to the Switch and Switch 2 consoles.
For starters, we got a Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake from the N64, the arrival of Switch Sports for the Switch 2 with more sports, the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts 4 sequel, a Starfox single-player/co-op trailer with free demo announcement, the arrival of Devil May Cry 5 for the Switch 2, new Switch 2 Joy-Con colors of Blue and Yellow, and more.
Of course, there were many trailers released during the showcase, but we tried to grab a few of them that would gauge individual interest. Nintendo’s entire showcase was just over two-and-a-half hours long, or the length of a good Marvel movie. Those of you interested can watch it in its entirety in the video above.
