Not to be outdone by Google, Samsung sent out invites for its next Galaxy Unpacked Event to unveil new hardware. However, instead of having the event here in the US, the company is headed overseas to London. The event will be live streamed and is happening on July 22 at 2PM BST/6AM PT/9AM ET.
Samsung is ready to show off its new foldables and smartwatches at the London event. The new hardware includes two versions of the Galaxy Z Fold 8 (with a short, wide model and a standard size with a new name), the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the Galaxy Watch 9, and the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. Other than the wider Z Fold 8, we expect minor hardware upgrades and new software features.
And in typical Samsung fashion, those who are interested can reserve their desired device in advance and get a $30 Samsung credit and up to $1,200 in savings via trade-in credits. Also, those who place a reservation will be entered to win one of 10 Samsung gift cards worth $500.
