Google’s Nexus 6 has been out already for quite sometime (about four months to be exact) for all carriers, except for one: Verizon. Apparently for some reason, the phone didn’t launch when it became available everywhere else. According to a leak by Phandroid, the wait might be over later this week.
They have acquired leaked screenshots from VZW’s internal database that confirms the phablet-sized Moto X is set to arrive this Thursday, March 12th. Thursday would be the online launch and then become available in physical stores on the 19th. The VZW Nexus 6 will launch in the Midnight Blue color only starting at $249.99 on contract, $29.16 per month on Edge, and $699 at full retail pricing.
We’re not sure if Big red will offer it in both 32GB & 64GB or just the 32GB. To make up for their tardiness, VZW is saod to offer a 6-month free trial of Google Play Music and ship w/ a new version of Android: 5.1 Lollipop. This latest software isn’t even available on any other Nexus yet so Verizon would get it 1st.
