Looks like Google is looking to get into the extended warranty protection game w/ a new service coming soon called Nexus Protect. Spotted on the Google Store by the folks over at Android Police, it appears to be hidden within the page source so its not out and about in plain sight.
It appears to be an extended warranty protection plan similar to the likes of Apple Care or such. The Google Store looks to be setting up limit purchases on Nexus Protect choices like buying multiple devices in one order as they would all need to be covered.
We can expect the program to be unveiled or launched around the same time as Google launches the new Nexus devices from LG & Huawei. Does this interest you as something you would add to the purchase of your next Nexus purchase?
