Last night around 11:47PM on a BBM group called Tech Geeks Unite, member Johnny Blaze pointed out that a new 5.0 OS was available for T-Mobile 9700 users. I was actually able to read the message around 2:30ish AM and I checked it out and it was there. The new 5.0.0.714 OS is available via Wireless Upgrade (a T-Mo first) for anyone with a T-Mo provided OS. Not sure what fixes it brings to the table but it’s gotta be better than .586. Just go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Wireless Upgrade -> hit Check for Updates and it should be there.
