The folks over at Mint Mobile is expanding their features to their subscribers. If you didn’t know, Mint Mobile is an online-only MVNO that utilizes T-Mobile’s 4G LTE network. It gives you just about everything the big boys have but for 50% less. Their plans start as low as $15 per month w/ 3 month periods at a time.
They now have 4 new features that many of the big 4 carriers offer like:
- Automatic Data Settings: Data and MMS settings will be configured automatically
- Visual Voicemail: If you miss a call, Mint Mobile users can still get the rundown with visual voicemail
- WiFi Calling & Text: When full network coverage isn’t available, calls and texts can be sent over WiFi
- VoLTE Enabled Calling: Also known as Voice over LTE, this is just another way of saying Mint Mobile users will be getting better quality and faster connections.
Users will receive a notification to update their carrier settings, and when they select ‘Update,’ they will be able to access all of these upgrades right away.
And to go along w/ this news, you can also pick up an iPhone Xs or iPhone Xs Max over at Mint Mobile as well. You’ll be able to pay a monthly price for your new iPhone. The Xs starts at $56 monthly while the Xs Max starts at $71 monthly.
