Apple’s 5th-generation of the iPad has arrived for public consumption.   Now called the iPad Air due to its super-thin and lightweight body, touts the refreshed specs one would expect like: the 64-bit A7 CPU + M7 coprocessor, faster Wi-Fi antennas, dual mics, a FaceTime HD camera while retaining the super-long 10-hour battery life.

You can grab your choice of the Wi-Fi or LTE (AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, & Verizon) versions of the 9.7inch tablet.  Although the body got smaller + lighter, the pricing remains the same at $499 for the 16GB Wi-Fi and $629 for the LTE model.

You can order yours online from Apple.

Update:

Now other retailers have the iPad Air on sale like Best Buy & Walmart, which is the only one offering a bit of a deal w/ $20 off of a 16GB wi-Fi model.
