While Sharp announced this device yesterday overseas, this morning Sprint made sure to call dibs on it. This morning, Sprint announced that they would offer the Sharp Aquos Crystal smartphone to all of its carriers (Virgin + Boost Mobile).

Mid-range specs but impressive software features.

Inside the Crystal lies a bezel-less 5inch 720p HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon CPU, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of storage w/ micro SD card support up to 128GB, 1.2MP front-facing + 8MP rear-facing shooters, and a 2040 mAh battery.

You also have Harman Kardon Clari-Fi + LiveStage software, uses your entire front panel to push out sound instead of one speaker, and more. This marks Sharp’s 1st US phone as part of the new SoftBank initiative.

No word on availability as of yet but it will be priced at $149.99 on Boost + Virgin Mobile, $239 off contract on Sprint or $0 down w/ 24 payments of $10 via Easy Pay.
