So, yeah.  Like the headline says, your Netflix (or the person’s account you’re using) is getting another small price hike.  If you’ve been paying attention to what’s been going on in media, you shouldn’t be too surprised.  

So the whole point of this is to get more $$$ to create even more content.  Why, might you ask?  Cause Disney+ is the main reason why but then the other companies to follow w/ their own streaming services.  So the content they license form Disney & others will go bye, bye and never return so they want to make more original content to fill that void.  

OK, now that we’re caught up.  The new pricing is set to hit subscribers over the next 3 months.  Let’s dive into the new pricing shall we?  

  • So the Basic plan goes from $8 to $9
  • Standard goes from $11 to $13
  • Premium goes from $14 to $16

So its really a $1 or $2 increase that could hurt those of you on a tight budget.  Hopefully, we can go longer than a year before Netflix wants to do another one.
