The two retail giants have a new service to offer its customers: a video game trade-in program. Best Buy and Target are plotting to cash in more on the gaming industry. Best Buy will begin their service this up and coming Sunday, August 29th. Also trade-ins will get you a $20 BestBuy gift card towards select game titles. Expect Target availability on August 24th in Northern California, then more stores in September, and in 850 stores by the end of 2010. Target will offer electronics along with video games for their trade-in program as long as it is reasonable condition. Quite interesting move for these two retail giants to offer trade-in programs. I guess no more getting raped by Gamestop’s trade-in program. Check out the official releases for both after the break.
