AT&T has theirs and now Verizon also offers Samsung’s Android-powered, Galaxy Camera.  As a recap for those who missed it, the Galaxy Camera is a point-and-shoot camera running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 1650 mAh battery, and a f/2.8 23mm 16.3MP sensor capable of 21x optical zoom + image stabilization.  While AT&T’s version only used HSPA+ w/ a White paint job, Verizon’s will use its blazing fast LTE data speeds w/ a Black coat of paint.

Priced at $549 w/ a month-to-month data plan like the LTE iPad, the Galaxy shooter is available online only at the moment at Verizon’s site.  For limited time, those with a Share Everything plan can add this shooter for only $5 monthly and shave $35 off which would bring the camera down to $514.99.

In the meantime, stop by our brief hands-on with it to keep you occupied while we work on getting a review unit from VZW.
