Now we already talked about this as its been rumored for a bit now as it seems to be actually happening.  By it, we mean the new Nintendo Switch or Switch Pro or whatever Nintendo winds up officially calling it.

Thanks to the folks over at Bloomberg, we get one step closer in regards to some of the changes being made.  This newer version of the Switch is said to offer a 7inch OLED display courtesy of Samsung that will still offer 720p resolution on the console but can output 4K graphics when connected to a TV.  So not the 4K display of the previous rumors as keeping the 720p panel will keep the battery life the same – for the most part.

Outside of that, we expecting improved CPU + GPU along w/ other smaller enhancements to the Switch overall.  Just to recap, the current Switch offers a 6.2inch 720p LCD screen while the Switch Lite offers a 5.5inch 720p LCD panel.

Now when can we expect this?  Reports have it somewhere as the 2021 holiday season.  As we get closer to the rumored projected release date, we may get more details about whats coming.
