We got Microsoft, Samsung, & even Motorola w/ their folding phones out in the market w/ some on their 2nd & 3rd-gen iterations of them coming this year.  Still nothing from Apple yet though.

Super-accurate analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that based on his intel, Apple’s folding iPhone could launch sometime in 2023.  It is said to be the Samsung approach of things as it would be around the size of an iPad Mini which is 7.9inches BTW.

Apple is still figuring out issues that would come from mass production as well as figuring out main technology components needed.  It is even said that they’re not even in the prototyping stage yet which is when they’re making several versions of the device to see what works.

Though not unusual, Apple is notoriously known for waiting for technology to be proven 1st before adapting it to their products.  They definitely don’t want to deal w/ Samsung-like issues they had w/ their 1st-gen Galaxy Fold.
