In regards to the shooters, both have a triple camera setup comprised of 12MP sensors ranging from f/2.2, f/1.7, & f/2.3 w/ dual PDAF (phase-detection auto-focus) + 2 of them w/ OIS. There’s even an 8MP selfie camera on the front end. They even have different focal lengths ranging from 16mm to 105mm. The shooters have eye & object tracking as well as can record up to 4K @120fps. Last but not least, the Xperia 1 III adds a 3D iToF sensor for depth sensing.
No word on pricing or exact availability on the latest Xperia smartphones but don’t expect them to below $1,000 but they will launch sometime this summer. Will this be your new smartphone when they drop?
