Yup, another year another price hike for a streaming service. This time around it’s ESPN Plus as this will apply for both monthly & annual subscriptions as it will go into effect on August 13th.

The monthly ESPN Plus will go from $6 to $7 while the annual will go from $60 to $70. But if you have the $13 per month Disney + bundle (that includes both services and Hulu), you won’t see an increase. The same will goes for UFC pay-per-view as well.

Disney increased ESPN Plus prices just last year to $6 monthly. The increase this time around is due to several sports rights deals to bring in more new & older content from NHL, Wimbledon tournaments, LaLiga Soccer in August, & the PGA Tour starting next season.

Disney is seeking to please their reported 13.8 million ESPN Plus subscribers w/ more content. But this all comes at a price though. Hopefully, it won’t get too much higher in the near future.
