On Wednesday, Samsung showed off their newer, powerful, more durable, & slightly cheaper folding flagship phones w/ the Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Galaxy Z Flip 3. Pre-orders kicked off that day but everyone still hasn’t revealed their promos + freebies for pre-orders as per usual. But days later, we got more available for those of you who were waiting until payday to reserve yours.
So going straight to the source might be the best route to go with depending on which device you’re going with. So if you want the Z Fold 3, it will cost you $1,800 for the 256GB model & $1,900 for the 512GB model at full retail pricing. But you can grab it as low as $1,000 – no matter which storage option you choose. This is BTW of up to an $800 credit via device trade-in for up to 4 devices. This is despite not having the best resell value from Samsung though. This will also include $200 of credit towards accessories as well as to use towards the new Galaxy Buds2, a new S Pen/S Pen Pro, cases, etc.
In regards to the Z Flip 3, it will cost you $1,000 for the 128GB model & $1,050 for the 256GB model at full retail pricing. But you can get it as low as $500 – no matter the storage size. This includes up to a $650 credit via device trade-in for up to 4 devices. This will also include a lesser $150 instant credit to put towards accessories of your choice.
AT&T
The folks over at Bell Atlantic are giving you a little bit more than Sammy for both devices. This will be saving up to $1,000 via device trade-in on both the Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 and this would give you the Z Flip 3 for free. You can also save an extra $250 for those of you who move over to AT&T. Those of you on the AT&T Next Up installment plan can get the Fold 3 for $50 per month for 3 years & the Flip for $27.78 per month for 3 years. And you can grab Samsung’s $200 credit for accessories as well.
The folks over at T-Mo are giving you some below retail savings as well for Sammy’s latest foldables. You got up to $1,000 off via device trade-in which will give you the Z Flip 3 for free & the Z Fold 3 for $800 via 24 or 36 monthly credits. This is via T-Mo’s EIP on Magenta MAX 5 G plan that allows you to max out at 4 per account. You can get the Z Flip 3 for $41.67 per month & the Z Fold 3 for $50 per month. And you’ll still take advantage of Samsung’s $200 credit towards accessories as well.
And now for Big Red, you got the same $1,000 off w/ an eligible trade-in & using select Unlimited plans for new subscribers. Verizon will also throw in up to $500 extra to help cover the cost of the switch as well. Current subscribers, unfortunately, will only max out at $500 via device trade-in. The Z Fold 3 will cost you $60 per month for 30 months or $75 per month for 24 months via a payment plan. While the Z Flip 3 will cost you $33.33 per month for 30 months or $41.66 per month for 24 months via a payment plan. Still has Samsung’s $200 credit towards accessories too.
And last but not least, surprisingly we’re talking about Google’s MVNO. This time around, we’re talking about specifically the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and not the Z Fold 3. You can save up to $400 off of it by just switching or activating your new Flip on Fi. Then you can add up $500 off via device trade-in as well to grab one as low as only $100 potentially.
Outside of that, you can grab the Flip 3 for $1,000 for the 128GB model as the 256GB model is currently out of stock according to their site. Or you can grab one for $41.67 per month for 24 months. And yes, you’ll still have access to Samsung’s $150 credit towards accessories for the 3rd-gen Flip.
The folks over at Best Buy are giving you $300 off of pre-orders on the both of the 3rd-gen Z Series devices. Those of you picking unlocked models can add up to $600 off via qualified trade-ins. Those of you picking up one on either AT&T or Verizon, can get up to $1,400 off w/ activation, pre-order, & trade-in. While picking up a T-Mo mobile will only get you up to $1,000 w/ activation + trade-in.
