Now we already know about the upcoming Google Pixel 6 premium smartphone but we’re in August and where’s the Pixel 5a? Apparently its coming at the end of the month on the 26th for $450.

This leak is courtesy of Jon Prosser over at FrontPageTech who can be hit-or-miss at times. Along w/ that, we got some details on the specs as well. So the 5a will be a variant of the Pixel 5 as we expected w/ slight changes here & there. So we could see a 6.4inch 90Hz display, powered by a Snapdragon 765G, 6GB of RAM, an IP67 dust/water-resistant body, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 4650 mAh battery.

Don’t look for wireless charging but it will have the same shooters from the Pixel 5, and no word on the storage but we can assume a 128GB. The alleged August 26th launch date would be a little earlier than last year Pixel 4a which dropped September 4th. Since this will be a 5G-capable Pixel a-line smartphone we’re not sure if we’ll get an even cheaper non-5G version.

So who’s looking to save some $$$ here over the supposed premium-priced Pixel 6 lineup?
