Now just when you thought that Sonos was done w/ soundbars in their inventory, they’re not.  Currently codenamed ‘Fury’ w/ a S36 model as it is supposed to come in at $249.  This sounds like it will be one of the many announcements set to arrive on the rumored June 7th Sonos event.

This news comes thanks to the folks over at The Verge got the scoop that Sonos is prepping to drop another soundbar.  Even more entry-level than the current $449 Beam.  The images above are 3D renders based on what The Verge was told about it as it would come in both Black or White color options.

The Fury soundbar will be smaller than the 2nd-gen Beam by a few mm in depth & 101mm in width.  But being more entry-level, there will be some missing features form the Beam.  So no Dolby Atmos support, no mic for voice assistant support, no HDMI and only an optical cable.  So you will have Dolby Digital surround sound to go to a 5.1 system.

This would give you interested buyers a chance to buy into a Sonos home system w/ 2 Play:1s and this forthcoming one for under $700.  You will be able to add the new soundbar to the high-end Sonos Arc w/ wall mounts as well.  We can expect more products from Sonos coming soon like a more affordable subwoofer and their wireless headphones.

Looking more & more intriguing as they release more & more products.  Any of these things interest you from Sonos?
