Amongst the several AI announcements from I/O 2026, Google also made some adjustments to its Gemini-based AI subscription. However, not the anticipated price hikes that every company has been implementing for this service, but a price reduction.
Google’s AI Ultra plan is now $100 per month, opposed to the $250 monthly cost it was before yesterday. Outside of that, the AI Plus tier remains at $8 monthly and the AI Pro at $20 monthly. All three options now include Gemini 3.5, Daily Brief, AI Inbox in Gmail, and the Gemini app with Omni.
The AI Pro adds YouTube Premium Lite with Google Pics in Workspace. The AI Ultra adds 5x the usage limits, YouTube Premium, access to Gemini Spark, and slightly less cloud storage space at 20TB instead of the 30TB it was previously.
