Earlier this morning I attended Samsung’s press event which unveiled the new-and-improved Galaxy Note 10.1 to the world again. The Note 10.1 was delayed to beef it up a bit. This new Note 101. offers users a 10.1inch LCD display w/ 1280 x 800 resolution, running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich w/ Touch Wiz UX, powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, dual cameras (1.9MP in front, 5MP in the back) capable of 1080p HD video, Bluetooth 4.0, 7000 mAh battery, and an improved S-Pen. Also on-board are new features like Pop-Up Play (seen on the Galaxy S III), and true tablet multitasking with the ability to run to apps side-by-side to get more done. With apps like the Peel universal remote, Polaris Office, a customized version of Barnes & Noble’s Nook, & Adobe Photoshop Touch comes preloaded.
The Note 10.1 comes in two storage sizes of 16GB ($499) & 32GB ($549) and will be available starting tomorrow at retailers like Amazon, Best Buy, BrandSmart, CDW, Conn’s, Fry’s, HH Greg, and Tiger Direct. Look out for our first impressions with our hands-on coming later today and a full review of the Galaxy Note 10.1 in the near future.
