Today Sony added a new member to their Extra Bass line of audio products w/ their new WF-XB700 earbuds. You can consider these the more affordable little brother of the noise-canceling WF-1000XM3 earbuds.
The new WF-XB700s offer 12mm drivers to provide Sony’s Extra Bass for more thump on the output, codec support for AAC + SBC, IPX4 sweat + water resistance, virtual assistant support, Bluetooth 5.0 w/ the ability to use one bud or both together, 9-hours of battery life that doubles to 18-hours w/ their charging case, and fast charging as a 10-minute charge will get you an hour of juice. No LDAC support or noise canceling though as you’re gonna have to upgrade to the 1000XM3 earbuds or headphones for those features.
All of this for only $130 w/ Black & Blue color options seen in the video above. The Sony WF-XB700s are due out later this month. I am loving the options for the more affordable Extra Bass line Sony is putting out as it gives people a way to experience their audio products w/o breaking the bank too much.
