Although Grand Theft Auto V was a superb game to play and to watch play, the same can’t be said about the online portion of the game. Released at the beginning of the month, GTA Online has been plagued w/ many problems. Server issues resulted in many gamers not being able to even play the 1st task (which was drag racing). This forced Rockstar to roll out two updates to the online portion of the game leaving many gamers having to delete their created character and restart in able to play.
In order to make up for the problems you may have incurred attempting to start your online career, Rockstar is making it up to you in the form of in-game $$$. A total of $500,000 in 2 installments. They hope to have the 1st $250,000 installment to gamers by the end of next week and the final one by the end of the month. Just don’t quote them on the timeline as that can change. You must have played the game online during the month of October in order to qualify.
