After announcing the once-popular instant messaging service coming to other platforms back in May, the company is ready to distribute it this weekend. Just short of missing their targeted summer launch, BBM is coming to Android and iOS. Android users will get it on September 21st while iOS users will have to wait a day to get it on the 22nd.
You will have access to sharing files, voice notes, & images along w/ conducting group chats of up to 30 people. BlackBerry will give every BBM user a PIN to maintain the high-level of security w/ your chats. BBM Channels and BBM Video are in the works for the Android and iOS as well. Android 4.0 Ice Cream and iOS 6 is the minimum requirement for devices to use BBM.
