After hearing rumors of a smaller version of my favorite Android phone on the market, it was only a matter of time until it actually became real.  Earlier this morning, that’s exactly what happened.  During a press event in London, the HTC One mini was revealed.  Read on below to see what has changed and what its working with.

Think of the One mini as the One S from last year but with fewer compromises.

The smaller version of the flagship device is constructed with the same zero-gap aluminum unibody design.  Inside of the One mini offers a 4.3inch 720p resolution display, powered by a 1.4GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, running Android 4.2.2 w/ Sense 5, front-facing BoomSound speakers, 4MP Ultrapixel camera but without optical image stabilization though, no NFC support, and a 1800 mAh battery.

The One mini is set to launch in select markets in August and worldwide the following month in September.  Check out a photo of the One side-by-side with the mini and a demo video below.
