Among the confusion and back-and-forth of what the next-gen Xbox can and can’t do, Microsoft is looking to clear some of it up for you.  Today, they announced Home Gold which allows users to share and enjoy digital games among many users on a single console.  This gives you access to downloaded games without being online as well as other features as mentioned earlier this week.

“It pays to be an Xbox Live Gold member.”

Digital games that are downloaded go where ever your gamertag goes.  So if you are at a friend’s house playing on the new Xbox, you can sign w/ your gamertag and have access to your game library via the cloud.  This allows for an unlimited number of users by the way on your console.  If you happen to have both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One, you can be logged into both consoles at the same time.  Although there are no additional benefits for Xbox 360 owners though.  In case you didn’t already know, it pays to be an Xbox Live Gold member as this is yet another example of it.

Thanks, @Famousk56
