With the great success Google and LG has had with the LTE-less Nexus 4, one might think the two would continue on.  Even though Motorola is now a Google company, there was no real signs that the two would work together on a project until the Moto X was revealed.  Now there’s rumblings that the two would collaborate on a Nexus sometime during the 4th quarter this year.

This bit of news is brought to you by Taylor Wimberly BTW. The Motorola Nexus wouldn’t be cheap rehash of the Moto X either.  It is said to be an entire different device completely.  Hopefully, it will be equipped w/ Moto’s custom X8 processor to further push some cool new abilities to the device.

“Google is looking to end the year off on a high note.”

According to the sources over at DroidLife, there is word that we could see more than one Nexus smartphone this year.  LG is still slated to craft a Nexus of their own as well.  It will be based of their recently launched G2 hardware.

And lastly, the new Nexus 10 is said to be made by ASUS rather than Samsung.  According to Geek, Google will switch manufacturers but still maintain a high-resolution display.  Meaning a total of four Nexus devices for the year: two smartphones, one 10inch tablet, & Google’s smartwatch.  Google is definitely looking to end the year off on a high note.
