As we’re getting even closer to tomorrow’s Apple event, more news broke over the weekend to finalize all that we can expect from the 2021 iPhone.  Looks like Apple is giving their storage options a well-deserved boost.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, gone will be the 64GB storage option for the mini + regular sizes as 128GB will now be the new base option.  This will also bring bigger things to the bigger phones as the iPhone 13 Pro/Pro Max models will get a 1TB storage option.  This will definitely come in handy now that Apple armed them w/ the ability to capture 4K HDR video.

Along w/ this we’ll see the same look/design powered by a new in-house CPU but w/ smaller notches + new colors, a new LPTO display to support faster 120Hz refresh rates for the Pro models, an Always-On display, and stronger magnets + larger coil for MagSafe accessories.

Also new w/ be more powerful cameras on board that can do a bit more.  You’ll have a new ultra-wide camera w/ better optical zoom for videos, ProRes support + Portrait Mode for videos, and the addition of astrophotography to compete w/ Google’s Pixel lineup.

Moving onto the Apple Watch Series 7, we got a slightly tweaked design that will bring forth larger flat display + cornered edges instead of rounded + curved ones.  Offering bigger watch sizes of 41mm + 45mm coming from 40mm + 44mm.  Just don’t look for any new sensors like body temperature + blood glucose tracking a those will arrive on future models.

And last but not least, we shall see the 3rd-generation AirPods.  Now these are supposed to get a redesign to match that of the AirPods Pro but w/ swappable rubber tips.  You got shorter stems, rounded earpieces, & a new wireless charging case w/ a 20% bigger battery.

The iPhone event kicks off tomorrow at 10AM PST/1PM EST online.  Better have your $$ or Apple Card ready by the end of the week for pre-orders.
