Last year, there were plenty of rumblings about the Pro branding arriving on the Galaxy S26 phones, replacing the Plus model. Obviously, that didn’t happen, but we’re already hearing about the Pro name making its way to the S27 line of phones. However, this time it would be in addition to the three Galaxy S phones.

According to ETNews, the Galaxy S27 lineup will get bigger with a new fourth phone, with the S27 Pro being another premium option between the Plus and Ultra models. The new Pro model won’t offer S Pen support, but it will feature Samsung’s built-in Privacy Display, which lets users block content on their screens at off-axis viewing angles.

No word on any other Ultra specs that could trickle down to the Pro model. Fingers crossed that Samsung just makes a slightly smaller Ultra with a smaller price tag attached to it. Does Samsung need to release four Galaxy S smartphones and potentially two Galaxy Z Folds within the next calendar year? Probably not, but if they do, it’s very Samsung of them to do so.
