As the leaks keep on coming for the upcoming Galaxy S21 lineup from Samsung, we got even more details on what to expect. Next month, we’re expecting the Galaxy S21, the S21 Plus, & the S21 Ultra along w/ the Galaxy Buds Pro from Samsung.
We had a good idea of what they will look like via renders and now we got actually press leaks courtesy of the folks over at Android Police. We’re expecting a 6.2inch + 4000 mAh battery (S21), a 6.7inch + 4800 mAh battery (S21+), & a 6.8inch + 5000 mAh battery (S21 Ultra) – all w/ 120Hz displays. They will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 CPUs depending on what country you live in. The S21 + S21 Plus will offer a triple camera setup w/ 12MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, & a 64MP telephoto lens.
The S21 Ultra is said to offer the brightest Samsung display thus far going up to 1,600 nits w/ an adaptive refresh rate that can go all the way down to 1Hz. As far as cameras go, the S21 Ultra will offer an updated 108MP sensor w/ 2 telephoto lenses (one 3x optical + one 10x optical). Its main shooters will use the same 12MP sensors as the rest of the S21 lineup. Another advantage of getting the S21 Ultra is that it will offer S Pen stylus support despite not shipping w/ one.
And last but not least, it sounds like Samsung will be continuing their Apple copycat moves after mocking them. Its a little early to tell but it sounds like the S21 lineup won’t ship w/ a charging brick or earbuds for some reason.
Samsung Unpacked is rumored to be set for January 14th so that a little over a month away. We can expect availability to come not too long afterwards around the 29th. So you won’t have long to wait after they announce to pick one up.
