Yesterday, Google began teasing their big developer conference and later that day, made it official. Google I/O for 2022 is coming – virtually and happening on early/mid-May as per usual.
So the 2-day event is happening on May 11 & May 12th at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Cali. This will offer a limited live audience comprised of Google employees + partners but will still be free & online for all who register.
This year, we’re expecting more details for Android 13, potentially a 2nd-gen Tensor CPU or updates coming to the current one, plenty of software updates, and possibly the Pixel 6A & the long -awaited Pixel Watch.
Now this similar to last year as they returned from taking 2020 off for the pandemic and offering a free + virtual conference as well. Last year we got Material Design for Android 12, Google Wear x Tizen collab, and plenty of other updates.
Is there anything in particular that you’re looking forward to for I/O this year and just gonna wait & see?
