At 1st glance, the photo above revealing the upcoming Galaxy S26 family of flagship phones doesn’t look too dissimilar from the S25 series, except for the familiar-looking device in the center.
The image above is courtesy of long-time leaker Sonny Dickson, and we see minor changes to the S26 and S26 Ultra—mainly a smaller island around their rear cameras. The device is not an iPhone 17, but it could be easy to confuse it for one. But in the middle, we see the S26 Edge, which appears to be inspired by the Google Pixel and the upcoming iPhone 17 series with a camera bar on its rear. The image also solidifies the rumor that Samsung is looking to replace its Plus model with the thinner Edge, just as Apple plans to do next week.
Outside of that, we see circular outlines on the rear of all three devices. I, along with many others, am hoping for Qi2 magnets for wireless charging support. Google just added to its Pixel phones with Pixelsnap; maybe Samsung will call it GalaxySnap, GalaxyCharge, or GalaxyPower. I am definitely just spitballing names, as I have zero insight into the matter.
We’ll have to wait a few short months until January to get an official look at the Galaxy S26 family of devices.
