The rumor mill and product launches from Apple have been interesting over the past six months—in a good way. Get ready for some software updates, as earlier this afternoon, the company announced its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) for 2026. The event will take place at Apple Park and will begin on June 8th and end on the 12th.
Last year, we got the reveal of Apple’s Liquid Glass UI, which has made its way across the company’s software in some shape or form. However, we’re still waiting for delayed Apple Intelligence features, including an updated Siri. This year, we’ll see the arrival of iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, visionOS 27, and watchOS 27, and hopefully, we can finally see some new updates that could make Apple Intelligence a bigger contender.
While we have an idea of what to expect regarding upcoming hardware, such as iPhones, touchscreen MacBook Pros, and a new smart home hub, things have been quiet on the software side of things. So one could anticipate the arrival of the new Gemini-powered Siri and many moderate upgrades across all of Apple’s platforms. We’re only two months and a few weeks away from the event, as we’ll get confirmation then.
