While we’re awaiting the arrival of the budget-friendly Pixel 5a which just got cleared by the FCC, details on the Pixel 6 flagship lineup has emerged.  We got the leaked images a few months back and now we got all of the hardware specs laid out for us – allegedly.

This news is courtesy of Jon Prosser over at FrontPageTech who also gave us the leaked images as well.  So for the Pixel 6, we’re looking at a 6.4inch AMOLED display, powered by Google’s new CPU, 8GB of RAM, 128 or 256GB of storage, an 8MP selfie camera, a dual rear camera setup w/ a 50MP wide-angle + 12MP ultra-wide, running Android 12, and a 4614 mAh battery.

While over on the larger Pixel 6 Pro model, we’re looking at a 6.7inch Plastic OLED display, also powered by Google’s new CPU, 12GB of RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB storage options, a 12MP selfie camera, a triple rear camera setup w/ a 50MP wide-angle + 48MP telephoto + 12MP ultra-wide sensors, running Android 12 as well, and offering a 5000 mAh battery.

Prosser also mentions that both devices will also support 5G & Wi-Fi 6 BTW.  No word on whether or not if we’ll get the return of Face Unlock or an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric security options.  If I would have to gamble on it, I would say in-display but we got a few months to see what Google will offer their flagship.  October just can’t come soon enough for me.
