Earlier this morning, reports suggested a new Apple event was upon the horizon and this afternoon it was made official. Apple’s upcoming ‘Spring Loaded’ event is happening online on April 20th@10AM PST/1PM EST.
Current rumors suggest that we’re gonna get a lot of new device updates this go round. First up are the new iPads, we’re expecting a refresh to the iPad Pros w/ the larger 12.9inch model offering Apple’s 1st Mini LED display. Along w/ that we’re getting faster thanks to its M1 CPU, new USB-C ports, & better cameras. Also expecting a new & larger iPad mini going from 7.9inches to 8.5-9inches.
Next up, new Macs starting w/ their redesigned iMacs. We’re expected to see them get the M1 treatment as well as new display w/ slimmer bezels that will resemble their Pro Display XDR. We’re also expecting new MacBook Pros & an Air w/ the return of MagSafe charging + SD card slots and the removal of the Touch Bar.
Then we have the new AirPods. The new AirPods will resemble that of the current AirPods Pro whiule the new Pros could resemble regular stem-less earbuds. We may actually get the elusive AirTags to go against Tile and now the Galaxy SmartTags finally as well.
We got this happening next week and WWDC happening in June. Sounds like the break is over for these tech companies and get ready for more & more rollouts happening.
